Anfield regeneration project recognised in latest CIH report
A report by the Chartered Institute of Housing highlights the Anfield regeneration project as an example of what effective regeneration can achieve and how it can be delivered.
The report has been published following a recent announcement by the government that it is intending to make £140 million of loan funding available to kick-start the transformation of 100 estates.
The report highlights that schemes must be developed in the right way if they are to be successful and in particular if they are to benefit, rather than displace, existing communities. Housing organisations, working at a local level, will have a major role in ensuring this is the case.
More information on the report can be found on the CIH website.
