We spend around £200m a year on a wide range of goods and services from our valued suppliers.
We work with businesses of all sizes, and ensure that their work ethics and values align with ours, as well as the ambitions of our business plan. Our Procurement Team is responsible for purchasing everything from the installation of windows and doors, to large-scale construction, through to pens and paper and services.
The Procurement Team works to ensure that both suppliers and contracts offer the right quality, perform well, and deliver value for money.
What do we look for?
We want to work with suppliers who share our values, behaviours and ambitions. Our success comes not just from our own honesty and reliability, and high standards, but from that of our supply chain partners too.
If you’re a contractor (building, grounds maintenance, cleaning) we encourage you to be Constructionline accredited and CHAS compliant or similar, utilising Safety Systems in Procurement (SSIP) as a pre-qualifying standard.
What tenders are in the pipeline?
As a registered provider of social housing, we’re required to advertise contracts above the Public Procurement Regulations 2015 thresholds the Find a Tender Service (Find high value contracts in the public sector - GOV.UK (www.gov.uk). We also have our own internal Operational Standing Orders (OSOs) that govern the procurement processes we follow.
We advertise our high value opportunities on the mytenders website.
