A mural was recently unveiled on one of our homes of former Liverpool and Everton legend, David Johnson.

The mural was revealed earlier this month, February 2025, as a tribute to David Johnson, painted by local artists, Murwalls at Gurnall Street, Anfield. 

The painting was unveiled by the family of David Johnson and LFC legends, Sir Kenny Dalglish, John Barnes, Phil Thompson, Sammy Lee, John Aldridge and David Fairclough. The mural will take pride of place next to other former LFC legends Phil Neal, Ian Callaghan, and John Barnes.

Jacqui, our Tenancy Management Officer, supported in finding the right spot for the mural and we're proud to have this on one of our homes. 

The work is located minutes away from the Mo Salah mural, on the world-famous Anfield Road and was made possible by donations from Hotel Anfield and the local and wider footballing community.
