Bev Messinger has been appointed as our permanent Chair of the Board

We’re pleased to confirm that our interim Chair of the Board, Bev Messinger, has been appointed as our permanent Chair and will remain in post until the end of her term in March 2027. 

Bev stepped into the role of Interim Chair following the retirement of our former Chair, Mike Gaskell, having previously served as Vice Chair. She now leads an organisation with strong foundations built during Mike’s tenure. 

Bev brings more than a decade of experience as a Non-Executive Director, including roles as Vice Chair and Senior Independent Director within the NHS. She has also held non-executive positions across Central Government and the charity sector. Alongside her Board roles, Bev is a self‑employed executive coach specialising in leadership and management. 

We look forward to continuing our work under Bev’s leadership as we remain focused on delivering the third year of our Corporate Plan and, ultimately, providing more people with a safe place to call home.
