Our Supported Housing team also known as the Christmas elves have collected over 200 gifts for younger residents living in our foyers and supported housing schemes across the North West.

This marks the eighth year of our annual Supported Housing Christmas Gift Appeal, which ensures every resident has a gift to open on Christmas morning.

Thanks to the generosity of #TeamYHG, more than 200 residents, from just four weeks old to 27 years, will receive a present this year.

Andy Ward, our Young People Services Operations Manager, said “Christmas can be a joyful time, but for many it’s also a season of worry and stress. We want every young person in our supported housing to feel valued and cared for, and this appeal is one way we can make a difference.”

The gifts will be delivered in time for Christmas to six of our supported living schemes across the region, including Ravenhead Foyer, Verve Place Foyer, Coops Foyer, and Bridge Foyer, all home to residents aged 16–24, as well as Pennington Lodge and Tiernan Lodge, which support those at risk of homelessness.

This appeal helps spread festive cheer and reminds residents they are not alone during the holidays.
