Our commitment to tackling anti-social behaviour (ASB) was highlighted on the national stage during ASB Awareness Week, as our Service Manager - Housing Operations North, Sarah represented the organisation at Resolve's Frontline Excellence webinar.
The event formed part of the UK's national ASB Awareness Week programme, bringing together housing providers, police forces and community safety professionals to share best practice and innovative approaches to tackling anti-social behaviour.
During the session, Sarah shared insights into the work taking place across YHG communities and the importance of working closely with customers, local authorities, police and support agencies to address anti-social behaviour and improve neighbourhoods.
Sarah's participation capped a busy week for YHG colleagues, who took part in a range of activities across the North and South regions, including community litter picks, skip days, customer drop-ins, engagement events and neighbourhood walkabouts. These events provided opportunities for customers to raise concerns, access support and speak directly with colleagues and partner organisations.
Reflecting on the week, Sarah said: "ASB Awareness Week is an important opportunity to highlight the impact anti-social behaviour can have on individuals and communities, while recognising the work being done to support customers and create safer neighbourhoods. I was proud to represent YHG and share some of the great work our teams are delivering every day."
We remain committed to working with customers and partners to create safe, sustainable communities and will continue to build on the relationships and conversations established throughout ASB Awareness Week.
