If you’re skilled and qualified in any of the below trades and want to join the Your Housing Group team, we’d love to see you at one of our two upcoming open days! If you would like to play a part in this talented and committed team, then it’s a great time to come and get involved as the team is growing and evolving.
Roles available: Multi-trades, Joiners, Plasterers, Plumbers, Electricians, Roofers, Floor Layers, and Maintenance Operatives (semi-skilled).
At one of our recruitment open days, you’ll be able to have an informal chat with our Contract Supervisors and Managers, along with members of our recruitment team, find out more about the roles and ask any questions you may have about the role and being a part of the YHG team.
NOTE: This event is only for qualified candidates, we are not currently accepting apprentices or trainees at this time.

Qualifications & Criteria
We’re looking for people who are passionate about right first time and delivering quality service, if you think this is you and you fit the below criteria for your chosen trade, then we’d love to see you at one of our open days.
Multi-trades, Joiners, Plasterers, Plumbers, Roofers, Floor Layers
NVQ level 3 qualification in your chosen skilled Trade (or similar), or 3 years’ experience
Electricians
NVQ Level 3 or equivalent recognised competency/qualification within the electrical field
City and Guilds Inspection and Testing (G&G: 2391 or equivalent)
BS: 7671 18th Edition or currently in the process of achieving 18th.
Maintenance Operatives
Holds appropriate trade qualifications (NVQ / City and Guilds or equivalent) and experience of completing and delivering response repairs and maintenance works preferably within the social housing sector.
